Make a donation

Would you like to make a donation to AGECS that has an immediate impact?

If so, you can donate to us directly. We have signed up with trusted payment provider PayPal and their charitable arm PayPal Giving Fund Australia to accept donations.

As we are a registered charity with the ACNC, you will receive a donation receipt that is tax-deductible.

By donating to AGECS you will become part of a long legacy of supporters ensuring a future of high quality early childhood education and care.

Leave a bequest

AGECS has partnered with Gathered Here, an Australian based online will platform, to make the process as easy as possible for our supporters.

All wills written via Gathered Here are legally binding, completely free and include free updates for life, which means you won’t feel any financial impact but you could make a meaningful difference to educators, children and families.

If you are organising your estate planning independently*, and wish to leave a bequest to AGECS, you may choose to use the following wording:

“I bequeath the Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies, ABN 80 004 275 709, the sum of __ dollars/___ percentage of residual estate, for its general purposes.”

*AGECS recommends seeking independent legal advice when planning your estate

Be a part of our history and our future

AGECS was built from the charitable donations of those able to offer them. Without the significant bequests of Forest Hill or Ware (Warrawong), AGECS and the Foundation would not exist today. Indeed, our history as a graduates’ association began with members rolling up their sleeves to wash cars, sell newspapers, garden or sew, all to raise money to establish and maintain ‘holiday homes’ for vulnerable children.

Whilst AGECS’s charitable actions have transformed over the years, our objective still remains the same: to contribute to positive change in the ECEC community in Victoria. These days this is achieved through offering funding and innovative professional learning and development opportunities for early childhood education professionals.

So, what will we do with your donation?

Your donation supports AGECS to provide free and accessible professional development for those working in early childhood education. This includes grants, such as those offered during the 100 Years of AGECS celebrations, free professional learning seminars and training, as well as the creation of materials and resources for members.

Your donation may also help us undertake special projects, such as funding the digitisation of special AGECS documents to honour the hardwork and history of AGECS and its members, including the back catalogue of AUDAX.
